Discovery Sport Non-Starter Diagnosis
This Discovery Sport came to AJ 4X4 with an intermittent non-start fault. The recorded diagnostic checks identified a weak signal from the fuel-pump control module to the powertrain control module.
The module was located in the passenger-side rear wheel arch. This is a harsh area for an electrical control unit because it is exposed to water, road dirt and debris. Once the fault was confirmed, we replaced the module, checked the wiring and calibrated the new part to the vehicle.
