Recorded Series 3 Chassis Repair
This project involved assessment and repair of corrosion on a Land Rover Series 3 chassis. The chassis was exposed so affected areas could be inspected and the repair scope agreed.
Surfaces were prepared before damaged sections were repaired and protective treatment was applied. Where fabrication was required, replacement steel was fitted to the affected area before the vehicle was reassembled.
Suspension and underbody components were checked during reassembly and the completed work was inspected before handover. Chassis condition varies considerably, so a similar enquiry may need further strip-down before a reliable repair plan can be confirmed.
