Defender 90 TDCI Clutch Replacement and Service
This Defender 90 TDCI came to AJ 4X4 for clutch and driveline work. The recorded job included a replacement clutch kit, rear main oil seal, clutch slave cylinder and clutch master cylinder.
The transfer box was removed for refurbishment and its output seals were replaced. During inspection, excessive movement was found at the main-shaft coupling, so that coupling was also replaced before reassembly.
An interim service was completed alongside the repair. The final scope and parts required for any similar vehicle depend on inspection, model specification and the condition of the existing components.
