Range Rover Classic Rough-Running Investigation
This two-door Range Rover Classic was booked for investigation of rough running. Initial checks identified spark plugs that did not match the vehicle specification.
Replacing the plugs changed how the engine ran but did not resolve every symptom. Further investigation led to an agreed strip-down and cleaning programme focused on the fuel system.
The fuel bowl contained residue and contamination that could affect fuel delivery. The affected components were dismantled, cleaned and reset before the engine was checked again.
The page records a final engine check after reassembly. Classic-vehicle faults can involve age, previous repairs and non-standard parts, so similar enquiries are assessed individually before a repair scope is agreed.
