Defender booked in for investigation for a loss of power
Using the correct tool for the job a smoke machine to pressurise the system to see if we can see any boot leaks found straight away from the passenger side air intake pipe once that was re-fitted with a new pipe the customer asked us about performance so we carried out a stage one performance Remap? and EGR and DPF solutions

About this workshop update
Loss of power can be caused by intake leaks, boost-control faults, sensors, fuel delivery or exhaust restrictions. This Defender was tested methodically so the air leak could be identified before further work was considered. Diagnostic evidence should guide the repair rather than replacing components by guesswork.
