Discovery 1 300tdi Full Service & Repairs
This Discovery 1 300Tdi visited AJ 4X4 for a full service and a number of age-related repairs. The work started with a complete timing belt kit, which is a key maintenance item on this engine.
We also carried out an engine bay service, checking for leaks, worn hoses, tired belts and general condition issues. Older Land Rover models benefit from this type of inspection because small faults can quickly become larger problems if left.
The suspension and steering were also improved. We replaced the Panhard rod bushes, overhauled both front swivel joints and replaced rear and roll bar D bushes. These repairs help steering feel, stability and ride quality.
The air conditioning system was recharged as part of the visit. After the mechanical work was complete, the Discovery was checked and road tested so the customer could use it with confidence.
